Julia has a Bachelors Degree in Violin from Yonsei University in Korea and a Masters Degree from the American Conservatory of Music. She has performed in many different orchestras and ensembles as a member and a concertmaster. She has been teaching violin and piano for over 30 years and teaches students of all abilities and ages. Many of her students have competed at festivals with distinction. She is experienced in preparing students for RCM exams in both piano and violin at all levels. Julia is a welcoming teacher who enjoys seeing her students improve. She often finds herself sharing her love and passion for classical music with her students.
Her rate is $31 per half hour.

Micah Kim (Piano, Violin)

Micah was born in a musical family. She began playing piano and violin at an early age. Throughout the years she has gained many musical experiences such as playing in orchestra, performing, and accompanying. Micah is dedicated to helping students to develop fundamental skills as well as guiding them to find their musical interests. She teaches piano using RCM method and violin using both RCM and Suzuki method. Her rate is $29 per half hour.

Sharon Fong (Violin)

Sharon Fong has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Violin Performance from Trinity Western University. Over the years she has been part of many different chamber ensembles and orchestral groups. She has had the pleasure of premiering her fellow friends and classmates’ newly composed music with the New Music Ensemble at TWU and piano trios (Ignis and Trinity Western Trio). Sharon has experience competing in many festivals and performances in BC. She has also had the pleasure of playing as a soloist for TWU Orchestra and leading as concertmaster. Although Sharon has experience and a degree in performing, her passion lies in teaching. She loves working with children and enjoys watching her students grow. Her rate is $32 per half hour.
